Tour Overview

Leave the urban jungle of the Orlando tourist zone to pick your own fruit during your visit to a working Florida u-pick citrus farm! We’ll meet you at your hotel and take you to a local u-pick farm which produces Florida oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, lemons and limes…and you can select your own fruit right off the trees…it doesn’t get any fresher than that!

While on this local farm tour, you’ll comfortably explore the 2,500 acre working ranch from 12 feet up in a giant monster truck while enjoying a complimentary 100% natural orange, tangerine or lemonade seasonal slushie. The massive 4×4 monster truck is designed to provide a safe and relaxing ride while you search for the farm’s zebra, watusi, water buffalo, alligators, snakes and exotic birds, as you travel through groves and swamp land while learning some of the ranch’s history and interesting Florida facts.

Afterwards, we’ll provide the treats for you to feed more of the farm’s collection of animals, including chickens, goats, pigs, a miniature horse, kangaroos, donkeys and other friendly critters.

Finally cap off your day with a wine tasting and take home a locally produced bottle of wine, jar of honey or other snacks, such as local u-pick fruit, from the farm’s Old Time Country Store. This local farm tour will give you a memorable experience to take home, and a story to tell whenever you see Florida oranges around the world.

Exclusions and Extras:

• Picked fruit purchased at market prices (currently $1.33-$2.25/pound) paid directly to the farm
• Lunch is not included
• This tour is not wheelchair accessible

Season/Time:

Approximately 4 hours total. Please note that Orlando traffic conditions can vary widely while I-4 is under construction. This local u-pick tour typically operates November – June.

Cancellation Policy:

You may receive a full or partial refund by notifying us via email at info@originalorlando.com of the cancellation. No refunds shall be issued for cancellations not received at least 72 hours in advance of the starting time and date of your tour. Please review your Terms and Conditions document for other cancellation provisions.

The fruit on this local farm tour is delicious, and the citrus farm is renowned for its fruit smoothies (you get one for free on the tour)!

Other:

This tour is only offered in English. Florida weather is unpredictable and may impact the tour. If the weather is deemed unsafe by our guide due to weather conditions prior to commencement of the tour, Original Orlando Tours will offer a substitute tour at the original day and time, offer a credit to be used on any future Original Orlando Tours adventure, or fully refund the tour fee, the choice of which is at the option of our special guests impacted by the weather disruption. There are no refunds once the tour has commenced (i.e., the vehicle has left your departure point). This tour also includes an Orlando discount savings booklet. We suggest wearing a hat, comfortable shoes and sunscreen to make your tour an enjoyable one in warm months as well as a jacket in cooler weather.
